When you upgrade your VPS storage, the physical disk size increases, but Windows needs to be told to use the new space.

Step-by-step Windows Extension:

  1. Connect to your Windows server via RDP.
  2. Press Win + R, type diskmgmt.msc, and press Enter to open Disk Management.
  3. You will see your `C:` drive, followed by a section of black Unallocated Space.
  4. Right-click your `C:` drive and select Extend Volume...
  5. The Extend Volume Wizard will appear. Click Next, leave the maximum space selected, and click Finish.
  6. Your `C:` drive will immediately expand. No reboot is required.
